Family wants answers after Missouri City cyclist struck by hit-and-run driver who ran red light

MISSOURI CITY, Texas — John Abughazaleh is an avid cyclist who’s been riding for 20 years. But the last time he was on a bicycle, he almost lost his life. Abughazaleh was riding through Fort Bend County with friends the morning of Nov. 4 when he said a speeding driver in a white SUV ran a red light and struck him.
