Fort Bend woman recounts call from friend saying she’d been sexually assaulted by Arcola officer

A 27-year-old Fort Bend woman recalled for a federal jury Tuesday receiving a phone call from her best friend in November 2019 saying she’d been raped by an Arcola cop who pulled her over after a night of clubbing. She testified that her friend sounded “numb” yet her words conveyed emotion.
