Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Commissioner Morales seeking reelection for first time since redistricting

Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Commissioner Vincent Morales plans to seek re-election this November, his office announced last week. When Morales was first elected to Precinct 1 commissioner, the district lines were drawn in the Sugar Land area. In December of 2021, Fort Bend County was redistricted, and Precinct 1 effectively swapped places with Precinct 3, making the Katy area part of Morales’ district.
